Mountain Generator Service was established in 2017 by Jeff Christen to provide reliable Power Generator Services to Western North Carolina. We were founded on the principal that a Generator Service company and their staff should be highly knowledgeable across all types of generators, continuously trained, responsive, reliable, and professional.
Jeff started in the field of power generation as a maintenance technician in 2012 when Hurricane Sandy swept up the east coast and millions were left without power. Over the next 6 months Jeff obtained his Air-Cooled and Commercial generator certifications, installation certification, EGSA certification, gained a reputation for accuracy, and was named Lead Technician. He eventually moved on to be a Service Manager where he learned firsthand what it means to be a successful Power Generator Service company.
